Uganda: Increasing Aging Through a Healthy Environment

:The population health is being affected by degradation of which the people are not aware. There is high rate of trees cutting, wetland use, game parks encroachment, chemical deposition and nosy, smoky environment in the town slummy area.Bad effect are, poor rainfall leading to food insecurity, poverty, diseases, conflict and violence. Implementation in stages are; mobilizing 40 groups from the village farmers and town slums, training on digital story telling skills to widening their problem visibility, digital video story recording, editing,translation and distribution on face book twitter.

Burundi: Indigenous Culture and Art Linkage (ICAL)

The project is about linking and communicating Culture and Arts of Indigenous Peoples(Abatwa) of Burundi through story telling. Those people are underrepresented and underprivileged at all levels of community with limited access to opportunities. Their culture and Art is neglected, ignored or misunderstood and tends to disappear. The project will train 50 Change Makers(Imboneza) from the same community on Media use towards a widespread linkage and awareness of their Culture and Arts. The project looks to achieve self-empowerment/esteem of Batwas and promote understanding between people.

Zimbabwe: Radio Active

Radio Active is an information dissemination multimedia radio program designed to provoke debate among individuals and groups in a Society. An audio approach to deriving, presenting and simmering ideas in the minds of listeners; both young and old alike. A means of gathering a society’s diverse views and ideas. The dissemination of relevant information to society to effect positive social change. Radio Active is a maximum 5 minute audio program that is made available online through Social media platforms and/or any device on which a multimedia file may be uploaded

Uganda: Promoting Women Rights

We are proposing to increase promote the rural women rights over land ownership and other properties that have been declined by most men due to gender inequalities practiced. We hope to incease women participation in making public decisions ,increased resouce utilisation. We plan to develop a comprehensive monitoring tool with specific indicators, however, success will roughly be measured using;-Broad casting new about women rights to land ,other properties over the radio stations, Training Journalists,Direct Community community meetings,Sharing ideas on face book.

Colombia: Tech Female LatinAmerican Entrepreneurs

This project wants to give voice to entrepreneurial women in the technology sector. A 2014 study by the Inter American Development Bank showed that entrepreneur women with high impact endeavors face particular challenges. It also suggested the need to provide strong role models to build a positive attitude towards business entrepreneurship among women in particular and the society in general. This project wants to offer a digital space to those women to tell their stories and to learn to use digital tools to communicate with other women who may want to become entrepreneurs.

Honduras: Carpe Diem

In wallabies we have made a film about Bulling called Carpe Diem, is a story in video with a duration of 45 minutes, was conducted with funds and especially with the help of the people of Perspire in Honduras, the film is ready for play in to schools and public institutions in Honduras, but lack the funds to do so. The Carpe Diem project is based on raising funds for our film project throughout the country and especially in schools and public schools in cases where you record and Bulling are increasingly frequent, in each presentation will be held a forum where raise the issue in more dept
