What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Lugansk is postindustrial city in the eastern part of Ukraine. Industry is practically not working. Today we need to configure its empty cultural space, especially for young people. Among carriers of history and culture, as the older generation and the youth formed a lot of stories of street legends, myths, fairy tales and stories. We plan to collect theese stories on a single resource. Users will be able to read texts, hear the audio recordings, video. Each participant could leave comments on their blogs or put their own stories. Today, this information is very popular hulk. Information is demanded, it exists, but it is fragmented and requires generalization in a single resource.

Our organization is engaged in seven years of history, regional studies, and promotion of cultural heritage in Lugansk region. We have published seven books, six booklets. The organization is a part of broad informal coalition of non-governmental organizations and brings together hundreds of concerned and interested activists. We are able to create a network share and update of its target audience.
What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
We think that the main difficulty is the passive attitude of the population to cultural issues.
To overcome it, we plan to use civil society activists to promote the idea of “Lugansk urban legends”. Advertising Site will mean advertising the city of Lugansk. We will appeal to the senses of people love for their city and country.
Also we will be helped by specialists from Studio «Zina-Design» in optimization and promotion of our texts on the Internet.
How will you measure and evaluate the project’s impact, specifically: your primary participants, the wider regional community, or the global digital community?
Basic quantitative performance indicators of the project:

– Statistics website visitors;
