Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to research, has 50% unemployed. The most of them are youth people from 18 years to 30. I would like to train up to 30 youth unemployed. I would like to train them few important things: blogging, social media tools such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; how to utilize them in a way that is relevant to their lives and this country. This knowledge is usefull for labor market and for selfemploying. With this kind of knowledge and modern technical skills the young become more competitive on marketplace.
What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?
Describe the specific population with whom you will be working.
They are youth people from 18 years to 30 years old who live in Vitez, provinces town in BiH. I would like to work with youth because I believe that they are hungry to learn new knowledge about communications and technology and are want developing new modern skills.
Who else will be on your team to help implement the project?
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
My vision of the content the youths will produce are about their hobbies, their search for jobs, handicrafts they can sell though blogs and social media. It is important that they feel and training process of blogging and power of online presence. I would like to help them produce texts, pictures, videos.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

I have my own blog and though blog I got many question about blogging, communications, social media and best practices in BiH marketplace. My impression is that hunger for knowledge has exist, but relevant sources of knowledge are rare and very necessary. Youth want to learn more new knowledge, develop modern skills and share it with their peers. I have connections to various communities in BiH.

Describe which technologies, tools, and media you will focus on when training participants.
I've been giving training on blogging. I would like to bring the project is blog training skills and social media expertise. Blog will touch on Wordpress. Social media will be about Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and how to utilize them professionally, for developing small business and for job search.
Describe the facilities where you will hold the workshops.
The workshops will be conducted in classrooms of informatic in high school in Vitez . At least 20 computers will be used.
What is your current relationship with the community with whom you plan to work? What makes you the most appropriate individual or organization to implement this project?
I am part of the community and I was been unemployed for several years. I know what kind of problems facing youth. I have trained a lot of youths before, and I can definitely say that they are curious to learn and passionate to share.
What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
The specific challenges will be:
• about the schedule between me and the trainees
• knowledge level of the participants
How will you measure and evaluate the project’s impact, specifically: your primary participants, the wider regional community, or the global digital community?
I want to reach out to them and train them so that they will be able use that technical knowledge and skills for self employment, building own portfolio and online cv which may be a mitigating factor for employment.
If your project were to be selected as a Rising Voices grantee, what would be the general timeline of project activities in 2014?
The best time to implement this project is after September, because it is the beginning of new academic year, summer jobs are finished and search for jobs are active now.
The workshops will be conducted on half days of 3 Saturdays.
