They are the most under represented group on online, directly proportional to the level of literacy in this region, the status of tribal women with respect to computers or internet familiarity lags far behind. Most of them wouldn't have seen a computer live. This explains how backward their status is and how desperately they need to be uplifted & linked to technology. Moreover, these women face a number of social limitations when it comes to their education & academic careers.

It shall be ensured that trainees shall be women in order to facilitate easier interaction
What is your current relationship with the community with whom you plan to work? What makes you the most appropriate individual or organization to implement this project?
We identify our self with our target population. The primary factor that makes us the most appropriate organization to implement this project is that our organization has been working since last 7 years with tribal population and further we have a good work experience concerning project relating to the welfare & upliftment of tribal women
The staffs in our organization through don’t directly belong to the tribal origin but have been interacting with them for a very long time. This explains how deep an understanding we have of the tribal culture. It shall be throughout the project ensured that women deal with women this would remove many barriers like communication barrier & social limitations
What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
This project is itself a challenge in tribal areas with respect our target population. It has already been pointed out that tribal women face no. of limitations an account of their gender as well as traditions & customs of their tribes. Women in general especially girls are strictly prohibited and forbidden to leap out of their houses and communities. It would be a highly painstaking activity for the organization to pursue these women and their families to allow them to join this training program. Another challenge in this regard would be scarce means of conveyance for women in our target areas. At this stage we propose to provide traveling allowances. Yet to avoid further loop-holes we propose to make special provisions for women who face restrictions from their families in this regard.
How will you measure and evaluate the project’s impact, specifically: your primary participants, the wider regional community, or the global digital community?
The level of success in the project proposed shall be evaluated by means of social media connectivity achieved by the trainers. In clearer terms this would mean the extent of population our trainees would explain their stories to. We would assess the number of persons who read each of their stories published online with the help of social media. Our success will also be further indicated by more women of tribal origin approaching us for the aforesaid training.
