With this project, we will improve the education level of all children who lived within the student’s boarding house. The method is simple, we invite all of university student who lived in Bandung to invest at least 1 hour per week to play and gather with the children around them. Then we used that occasion to do a lot of activities with them. Of course, our activity here would form the children's good character, increase their academic competence, and improve their familiarity in using internet.

Describe the specific population with whom you will be working.
The first region of Student Build the Nation will take place in Regol Village, Bandung City, Indonesia. Here, we focused the program to all elementary and high school student.
The people’s daily activity here, both children and adult, is far away from internet access. The overall wealth of the people there is not very good, so that they prefer fulfilling their daily needs to have an internet access.
In this village, we have lived since last 2012. Not only live here, but some of us also usually teach the children every week. We have do many activities together with the children and people there, and now we think that we have a deep relationship with Regol Village. From them, we get so many input in order to complete this proposal.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
During this project ran, we hope all children in Regol Village dare to have big dreams and also become enthusiastic to use online media in order to reach their dream. Here is is some of work we will create together:
• Documentary Video
We will capture all inspirational moment during the ran of this project and present it in a nice Documentary Video. This video will be made together by the children of Regol Village (as the object of this project) and the committee of Student Build the Nation.
• “The Little” Regol Village Creative Work (Will be updated in Blog SBN)
We will encourage all children in Regol Village to make many creative work frequently based on their inspiration durin the program, such as writing, drawing, poem, and many more.
• Jingle Student Build the Nation
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established or plan to establish that will contribute to the success of the project.
We have already established a connection with Kampung Mandiri PPSDMS Regional 2 Bandung,

And we will have connection with:
SKHOLE ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung’s Teaching Community), as one of the curriculum advisor;
Taman Ilmu (Knowledge Community) UNPAD, as one of the curriculum advisor;
ARC (Amateur Radio Club) ITB, as our advisor of multimedia and technology usage;
Karang Taruna Kampung Regol, as our host in Regol Village.
How many participants do you think will be trained in your project?
I think there will be around 30-50 people will be trained to keep in touch with the internet during the first launch of this program (6 months).
With this project, we will encourage every children in Regol Village to make a creative work like short story, poem, drawings, or other writing they want. Then, these creative work will be published online through Student Buil the Nation’s website and blog by themselves. It will be reviewed every week.
Describe which technologies, tools, and media you will focus on when training participants.
Using online blogs
The children will be introduced with some word-processing software such as Microsoft Word and etc. And then, they will be taught how to publish it online through posting it in blog or other media.
Making a Documentary Video
The children, together with the teacher, can learn more about video recording from shooting using handycam until editing using many software (Ulead Video Studio for example). Then, they will publish it online through many accessible media.

We will hold the training at the village’s hall. And we will provide:

• Internet Connection by USB Modem

What is your current relationship with the community with whom you plan to work? What makes you the most appropriate individual or organization to implement this project?
• We have a very strong relationship with the children in Regol Village, so we can ensure that they will approve and follow our project easily
Since early 2013, we do many activities with the children in Regol Village. We teach them, we play with them, even we do recreation to many historical place together. In Ramadhan 2012 and 2013, we also held Ramadhan Fest here.
• We have many strategic networking not only in Bandung City but also in the other cities in Indonesia to ensure this project will truly bring a real impact to our society. We have a good relationship with SKHOLE Institut Teknologi Bandung, Taman Ilmu Universitas Padjadjaran, and Amateur Radio Club (ARC) Institut Teknologi Bandung, and communities outside Bandung.
What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
The obstacles we expect to face are:
• Since this project is a social work which is done without making an instant profit, it will be a little bit harder to involve all university student to take part together.

• We will ensure the concept of this project is clear and very valuable to be done by all stakeholders,
Second, we will invite many strategic community who has same vision with us and can attract many people to get involved in this project.
•We will promote this project idea continuously and widely using many media such as twitter, facebook, and the others.
•We will improve the skill of all people who get involved in this project periodically to ensure they have a proper competence to do support this project.

•Grow a writing habit in each children, evaluated ny the make of the children’s private blog
