We want to have a website in order to register and recall Andean music in the central region of my country, Peru, with the participation of the families and institutions of music. This will help our society to better understand one of the lines of our cultural identity as the basis of our development.
Topical focus:
Country:
What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?
Huancayo
Describe the specific population with whom you will be working.
We will work with the families and the institutions of music tipic. These families and institutions don't have state money in order to investigate and record of our history represented in music. If we don't register our history music, we are losing part of our history. I want to work with them because they are organized, so it's more ease to protome projects. These families don't have a good level in computer and internet, so it's neccesary work with them, in order to register and share our ancestors music, with good digital tools like audacity and other software to work with video. Some organizations only use computer to share photographs on Facebook, but they can share more information about our cultural history.
Who else will be on your team to help implement the project?
We will work with all the most important typical orchestras center:
Orchestra Ases de Huayucachi: https://www.facebook.com/ases.dehuayucachi.3?fref=ts
Orchestra Embajadores Ases de América: https://www.facebook.com/intembajadoresasesdeamerica.huancayo?fref=ts
Orchestra Ases de Huancayo: https://www.facebook.com/ases.dehuancayo?ref=ts&fref=ts
Orchestra Guapos del Centro: https://www.facebook.com/bruno.romanmeza?ref=ts&fref=ts
Orchestra Excelentes del Perú: https://www.facebook.com/waldir.camposbendezu.92?ref=ts&fref=ts
Orchestra Super Reales del Perú: https://www.facebook.com/orquestasuper.realesdehuancayo?ref=ts&fref=ts
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
We will recover the typical music recorded by orchestras in the early LPs from the 20s, and then type it and share it on a digital portal, including all necessary information of its performers and composers. That music is being lost and there is no official record. We want to do this work on a shared basis with the orchestras and share to society.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established or plan to establish that will contribute to the success of the project.

How many participants do you think will be trained in your project?
We want to work directly with 20 leaders of these orchertras, in order to work with them the register of our ancestors music. These 20 leaders will have all the topics about the work online. But, we will work con 100 musicians or more, because each orchestra are going to help us to look for our ancestors music.
Describe which technologies, tools, and media you will focus on when training participants.
The most appropriate technology will be the use of a digital audio recorders and the audacity software. Because each leader will look for our ancestors music to record and edit. After, they will be share the music in a website. Also, it's neccesary to use video to interview some people about our cultural history.
Describe the facilities where you will hold the workshops.
Our organization work with ONG. So they are going to give us this spaces to work with the orchestras. Aditionally, we have all the neccesary technical features in order to work in the camp with the comunities (personal computers, video cameras, USB modems).
What is your current relationship with the community with whom you plan to work? What makes you the most appropriate individual or organization to implement this project?
The relationship with the community and with the families and orchestras is good, and they are interested to do this project.
What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
The especific challenge will be the sustainability, so we are going to look for other institutions to finance the project after the one year.
How will you measure and evaluate the project’s impact, specifically: your primary participants, the wider regional community, or the global digital community?
The impact will be evaluated with more orchertras and families working on this project after the one year. And, maybe, we will find finance of the government.
