Cameroon: Indigenous Women Voices For Climate Change Adaptation

The project will engage indigenous Mbororo women in Akeh Village in the North West Region of Cameroon to voice out the local challenges their community is experiencing due to the adverse effects of climate change using citizen outreach media. We hope to attract actions both locally and internationally to support their adaptation efforts. We intend to offer capacity building on the use of audio recorders, camcorders and other ICT tools for the women to develop their own stories. Their stories will be shared through the Community Radio and online to support their community advocacy efforts.

Cameroon: Graffi Expression

The Graffi Expression is a project designed to train 10 selected actors the fields of art, craft, music and culture, on how to use the internet as a tool to express, expose, promote and market the fast fading rich grass field arts and culture of the Anglophone grass field minority region of Cameroon.

Cameroon: Websites for Schools

This project aims to create websites for schools in Cameroon, train teachers on how to update the website and also how to use social media in schools. We hope that by the end of the project, 500 primary and secondary schools in Cameroon have websites and are able to use social media to sell the schools mission. This project would therefore facilitate communication with schools, train teachers on how to update the school's website and also how to use social media in schools.

Cameroon: Bridge the Gap

Bridge the Gap: is an initiative aimed at bridging the digital divide by setting up a sustainable, mini digital media studio in Kumbo, Cameroon and to train young people on how to create digital media (Audio, Graphic, and Video) and how to share the produce through the internet especially on blogs and social networks such as YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, BlogSpot, Reverbnation, soundcloud and Flickr)
