Ukraine: If You Are Discussed, Then You Exist
Perform training in public journalism for everyone who desires in Zdolbuniv district of Rivne region (population – 60,000 people). The following issues shall be considered during the training: how to find news in a town, a village; how to tell the story only from a picture; why video cannot be questioned; where you can tell your story in the Web; why it is not enough to do the good and useful thing – you also need to tell it to people. After the training the participants shall do the practical work in their own locations, prepare text, audio, video materials for publication
Ukraine: Local Community in Charge of Changes!
We are going to create a big public site-platform for local community which reflect problems and cravings of community and will content local bloggers, who have what to say to community. We will encourage local citizens to participate actively in community life using our TOOL. We are going to administrate the site, make promotion to share information about the platform using free services and social networks like Twitter, Facebook, Vkontakte, Instagram and Google+. We will provide trainings for older people to encourage them to join the site and share their questions and problems
Ukraine: Gender Campaign “Why Should I Be Hired”
The problem of employment of women in recent years in Ukraine became especially important: state does not provide an adequate number of places for young professionals who graduated; private employers refuse to employ women and persons without work experience and persons over 40 years. The most pressing issue, especially in Lviv City and Lviv region, is ignoration by employers of women candidates in the provision of work. Employer Motivation: a future pregnancy, pay social payments associated with children, a number of benefits in performance, gender stereotypes, and so on.
