There is thousands of Yemeni demonstrating in Yemen everyday. There has been more than a month of protests against President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who has been in the power for 33 years. Thousand of people in Taiz,Ibb,Sana’a Aden…etc are demanding the departure of the  president. From Time to Time, the president supporters, and thugs shot fire on the protestors, and causing death. The worst massacre happened was in the last Friday. When the protestors finished the Friday prayer, the government’s thugs shotted the protesters from the roof of their houses. The result of this massacre was 52 killed and more than 200 injured. The support for the protesters is increasing day after day especially, after what happened on Friday. Many people in Sana’a donated money, blanket, gold…etc for the revolution

The beauty of what is going on in Yemen is that the first time to see such an organize demonstration in Yemen. For instance, it is not allowed for the protestors to carry a weapon especially that most of the Yemenis are armed. They have medical camp, Media camp, and camp for discussions. In addition, They have put the strongest men and tribes on the first line of demonstrations next line is for the other youth, and women.

Sana’a University closed its door because the demonstrations take place at Sana’a university, and the association where we train the women in blogging and social networks is closed. So we can not train the rest of EWAMT Target number of women, which are 28 ladies. We still need to train 28 ladies to reach our goal of training 200 female in Yemen in new media. Here is some blogs of EWAMT beneficiaries
