This project is designed to strengthen disabled young people in media technique by giving them training about the use and access of online media. The majority of disabled persons is often discriminated in the whole aspect in social life beside in getting education and training, so they don’t get access of information and ability to support their living. This training will be able to express about their life and their rights in social life.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
This training will provide practical use of online media and social media, they are; the introduction of the Internet and how to use it which can be accessed through the Phone, how to dig information through browsing / searching in Google and Yahoo. How to create an email account and use email to make a message, the introduction of social media, blog and how to develop and make the blog as advocacy media for disabilities right.

Relations with disabled groups and civil organization have been started with a study on discrimination against the rights of disabled in Boyolali. In this study we explore how the discrimination experienced by disabled groups in social relations. Currently we are campaigning to the public and government to protect the rights of people with disabilities, encourage community leaders to provide protection and respect for the disabled.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Project will be attended by 60 peoples representatives of disabled groups in Boyolali. We will invite them of each group to the training in the media techniques. After the training held we hope representatives will develop and teach their communities to improve their ability about online media to advocate their right. In this training we will also facilitate a network of the group who will jointly manage the social media and blogs as a campaign.
