On Mothers Day, 4-th of May this year we start with a web site for hungarian minority families, parents, where they can find every information they need about parenting, pregnancy, our hospitals, their rights etc. We would like to get in contact with parents who live in villages – hungarian minority mostly live there, to help them giving the right information about subvention they are entitled.

Describe the specific population with whom you will be working.
There is no such a web site in hungarian language which could help the parents, the women to find the right information they need. Most of the women and families are lower educated, deal with tillage, but hungry for information. We want to show them that it is really possible to find out informations, there is a place where they can tell their problems, share their experiences. There is a place where it does not matter whether they are doctors, proffesors, or workers, one thing is important, that they are parents, a father and a mother.
Most of these families do have computers at home but do not have the knowledge how to use the internet at the right way, how to find information that they need.
Who else will be on your team to help implement the project?

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
We would like to achieve to make a change, to make pregnancy and delivery more natural then the situation is today. It is possible to make a heading in the only daily newspaper in hungarian language about this project, and in the RTV Pannon.

The editor in chief of the web site babamama.rs, Tómó Margaréta is the journalist of Magyar Szó, the daily newspaper in hungarian language in Serbia.
We have a partnership with Exspecto Mentalhygiene Center in Subotica, psychologists, doctors, professors and social workers which are mentioned above.
How many participants do you think will be trained in your project?
We would like to make informal connections with these families in their place, villages. We hope that we can meet apr. about 1000 mother and father straight and about 10 000 on-line.
Describe which technologies, tools, and media you will focus on when training participants.
Me as the project organizer work as a journalist for ten years now. Working in on-line media network too. Social networks are very popular everywhere. We would like to educate the parents how to use it to learn at the same time.
Describe the facilities where you will hold the workshops.
The workshops would be hold in the cultural centers of the villages which are in 90 percent of case in lack of computers, internet connection. We would need a lap-top and a mobile internet.
What is your current relationship with the community with whom you plan to work? What makes you the most appropriate individual or organization to implement this project?
I became a mother in July 2013. I think as a journalist, with ten year experience I know and feel the problems of this community – women and families of hungarian minority.
The web site babamama.rs is planned to be the long-term information center for hungarian minority families in the future.
What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
Most of these families are very reserved, most of the parents do not speak Serbian. We really hope that we can win their trust. I hope that the ten year experience in journalism would help to topple the walls.
How will you measure and evaluate the project’s impact, specifically: your primary participants, the wider regional community, or the global digital community?
Success would be if the participants would share with us their problems.
