Create a new voice from transdisciplinary knowledge and the everyday experience of rural children, through edu-communication methodology based on open-free models of collective creation to develop artistic and research practices, related to the concept of local territory with a common and amusing language. What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?
La Ceja, Antioquia

We will work with six public schools from a rural context located in La Ceja, Antioquia. This municipality doesn’t count with human nor technical resources to provide critical creative know-how and experiences that are related to the ecological subject, which can be useful to develop networks between the schools and other institutions, taking into account their own environment. (These population has suffer consequences of the colombian conflict)
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The activities concepts are: Projection of animals and plants in urban and rural spaces, Circuit Bending Animalarium, Multimedial Ecologic parade (theatre – dance – music), Ecologic Cinema-forum. The content will be created through podcast, videocast, cartography, fotography, free hardware creations with recycle technology. The biggest content is to create a network among rural schools, that is going to represent them at the glocalized level.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Other tools

How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
A main group of 90 children and 10 teachers from the 6 public rural schools of La Ceja. The activities are going to take place in the public institutions and in the rural sorroundings. Technological recycled garbage, computers, cameras, audio recorders, arts and crafts, video beam. An artistic group from La Ceja, a Biologist – Ecologist assessor, an open source technology workshopper, and two Social Communicators (applicants).
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
The microgrant funding is enough to sustain our project because we count with human support and La Ceja's Mayoralty contribution (not money but resources like spaces, materials and human support). Therefore we would like to improve and give continuity to the project in its ambulant or itinerant nature in other municipalities from Colombia, and if its possible in other latinoamerican countries.
