The project is a documentary collection of religious festivals and outs of the localities of the municipality of San Martin of the Pyramids, through the use of citizen media such as videos, pictures, blogs, social networks, among others, this will be done by girls and poor children who have no access to ICT for rescue and cultural value of their traditions.

San Martín de las Pirámides, Estado de México.
Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
The social group will be 18 boys and girls from 8-12 years of age living in the communities of Alvaro Obregon, The Saltito and La Noria in the municipality of San Martin of the Pyramids. These locations are cataloged in a high degree of marginalization and rural so no utilities and no access to technology. The purpose of working with children is to help develop their cognitive and learning, minimizing the lack of access to technology.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
They will learn to use the video camera to capture every holiday activities such as dances, music, church arrangements, etc., They explain how to integrate interviews to videos are also taught to take pictures and grasp what they like, it will be uploaded to a blog and social networks where they complement with anecdotes of his experience, comments, legends, stories, animations, music, and links to organizations dedicated to new technologies.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Computers, Internet, editing software and image projector.
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
Currently it has links to different social groups and civil society organizations, local authorities and the general secretary of the municipal president and the committee ejido. In a short time for closer ties with the various educational institutions of the towns and the Houses of Culture of the municipalities of San Martin of the Pyramids and Otumba.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Directly be trained to 18 children from 8-12 years old and indirectly benefit mothers and 36 parents, 30 teachers of primary schools, 20 municipal authorities and the general population. The way it is to keep its financial support through transportation, meals to children during the sessions. Moreover we require the support of mothers and parents and teachers for girls and boys to participate.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
It has a multidisciplinary team of people who have had experience teaching children ICT with a group of women also pay your datacenter. In general it has support from other organizations to contribute to the monitoring and continuity of this project.
