Nepal: Information of LGBTI Issues through Online
Pahichan or Identity in one of the only LGBTI radio program in Nepal having both online and radio program for LGBTI . It provides information for SOGI people to convince Nepali society to respect the human rights and to empower these minorities to push for their rights. It was formed in 2011 and works in 13 FM stations and delivers information and all the activities are highlighted online, but most of news are in Nepali hindering other international community to understand the work done in Nepal. Hence the project intends to translate the work done in English and share to other community.
India: Empowering Community through ICT
Community information campaign through Mobile phone , primarily offers rural women and marginalised communities some hope to participate in gender just governance mechanism in the state . For the first time low literate and rural women can listen to information on maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health and other gender equality related mass campaigns.
