Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
The participants will be marginalized young women and girls from isolated rural areas who do not have any safe space to share their own stories and get support.Their awareness level on media tools is extremely low, they do not know how to use internet for advocacy of their own rights, how to raise their voices and make them heard through social media. They live in a patriarchal society where women have to be passive, keep silence and do housework.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The participants will be trained why and how to use social and digital media. They will create personal e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube accounts and Blogs. They will create a Facebook Group for staying in touch with each other. They will be trained how to report DV cases via online RRU platform created by our organization. Finally, they will come up with their own videos cut and designed by Movie Maker program, upload and disseminate them.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
Our organization is cooperating with many local NGOs based in the regions from where the participants will be selected. They will help us during the all phases of this project.
Besides, we have good connections with the most active bloggers and Facebook/Twitter users who are activists and civil society members. Some of them will take part in our trainings to educate and share their experiences and success stories with the participants.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Our organization has regional staff in these rural areas. Besides, as mentioned, we cooperate with local NGOs which will also help us to seek and gather the participants who fall under our criteria.
We are planning to have 25 direct beneficiaries from this project and 125 indirect beneficiaries, thus 150 in total. Every participant will be in charge of training 5 community members while coming back home from the camp.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We would like you to share with us some relevant videos/publications or other resources which might motivate and empower the participants of our camp.
Also, we would like to be in touch with other grantees as well to share our experiences/success stories/challenges with each other.
