Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
In Crimea, we have a multi-ethnic state undergoing a painful socio-economic and political transition where the Crimean Tatars are struggling for their perceived rights such as to be a rightful citizen of Ukraine, able to use the social services for themselves and for their families, to be able let their voices heard in the Crimean political arena in their process of nation-state building.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
This project will organize the practice of discussion to improve dialogue and networking between active citizens, civil society organizations and decision-makers using social networks in of national minority’s communities. Such activity will develop democratic initiatives on local level. The project aims to mobilize and empower active citizens especially youth in of national minority’s communities by help of social networks.

Belogorsk regional organisation “Fund of communities” is a main applicant
1) TV and Radio Company “TAV-DAIR” will give informational support for the project (24 radio programs about the project);
2) Crimean Tatars “PEN-club” will give human and technical resources
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
1) A few tens of active citizens have educated distance e-course “Citizen journalism”.
30 best participants of e-course “Citizen journalism” took part in the seminar “Awareness raising and public communication activities using social networks”.
2) A few tens of local community awareness groups of national minority’s communities are created in social networks.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
