Georgia: Way To Express – Social Media For Young Refugees

Social media is a good way to express your opinion,mostly for those who have something important to say. Working with social media needs some special knowledge and skills.With the help of it you can become a part of the world,promote democratical values,talk about sensitive issues. Our project is for young Georgian refugees,who have a lot to say to international society.Via social network they can contact young people with the same problems,share their feelings,redress relationship with young people from occupied territory and etc.They will have a chance to become real peace makers.

Afghanistan: “Follow My Story” Afghan Women Voice Campaign

Follow my Story is a project by Today's Afghanistan Conciliation Trust (TACT). It aims at empowering indigenous Afghan women to share their stories using digital media tools (audio podcasts, blogging). Afghan women continue to be under extreme oppression in term of education, health, and employment, which have restricted their participation in economic activities. TACT in close cooperation with radio MRASTA will organize workshops to build capacity amongst local women on the use of audio recorders and internet to develop and share their own success stories.

Afghanistan: Election Success by Empowered Youths

Through this project we aim to empower, give awareness to school students that they have the ability and potential to better monitor 2014 presidential election of their community. Through this project we will train students on how to attend the election day not only for voting to their target candidate but also to observe the voting office if they are really observing rules of fair election or not,in case they find any issue we will prepare a report and will publish that on Facebook, independent Commission for Electoral Complaints, and Each candidate Facebook page on behalf of our organization

Kyrgyzstan: Youth of the Borders

The project will talk about young migrants’ lives, their experience aborad and their current situation in their homeland. At the same time the materials prepared by citizen journalists will also talk about the life of families who have migrant relative. The programs will depict both: positive and negative sides of migrant’s life. In order to carry out this activity 10 young people of the Karakol town will be trained the basics of online journalism and will prepare materials. Their materials will be posted on the specially created Facebook page and the group pages of Issykkul oblast.
