Toroga Denver: promoting the Khoikhoi language in South Africa

Toroga Denver is hosting the @DigiAfricanLang Twitter account from June 29-July 5, 2023, sharing invaluable perspectives on the Khoikhoi language of South Africa. Toroga's previous interview by Rising Voices provides a glimpse into his expertise and dedication.

Khoe language and Afrikaans language and cultural activist, writer, photographer, poet and festival organizer. His self-published short story ‘Boesman Myt’ was inspired by his mother’s trip to the Cape from Graaff-Reinet in search of a better life. He also published a collection of short stories, Stories wat kort is 1and 2. He has his own podcast, ‘Draadloos virrie raadloos’.
