What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The citizen media outputs that will be created by participants will include; 20 photo images that best communicate women’s reality and stories in their quest for maternal health services in Uganda; other contents will include a photo album of 20 images to be uploaded on CEHURD flicker webpage and 20 photo posters to be presented at 2 exhibition workshops that will be held at district and national level.

Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
CEHURD is already in partnership with the EQUINET to implement a 6 months Health Literacy Participatory Reflection and Action (PRA) Project on Sexual and Reproductive Health in Kiboga district Central Uganda. This partnership will contribute to the success of this initiative in many ways including linkage of the two projects in carrying out follow activities, sharing contacts among others. How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
20 community women and leaders will be selected and trained in photography, computer and internet skills. 4 trained women will be identified and trained on how to upload photos on internet/ flicker webpage. The 4 women will be facilitated to take photos that best depict stories of maternal health rights violation in their areas.The trained participants will be recruited as CEHURD members and invited to participate in the photo exhibition workshop
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We would require Rising Voices to provide us with the following support; share related materials on media citizens especially using photography as a tool for raising community voices, technical guidance to develop and uploading photos on Flicker CEHURD web page. Any other related training that may be of use to the success of this project
