The main target is to make heard the voice of the youth which has been traditionally marginalized, like rural youngsters with different sexual orientation and gender identity, African descendants, disabled youth and others, by creating blogs and social networks platforms where they can share their needs and proposals to the decision makers and the whole society, to generate a equality movement and will try to influence public politics.

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
With young people of different sexual orientation and gender identity, young natives, peasants, disabled youth, African descendents, because there isn’t many webs that represent this diversity and actually talk about what they think, feel and propose. I would like to work with those groups because once I belonged to two of them and I saw that it is necessary to inform and educate society, and use the social networks to show how similar we all are
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Create life stories, local news, proposals to problems they might find and their analysis, as well as beginning to draft a document where we will show the vision and proposals coming from a diverse youth and aimed to the society, so we can solve some of the problems. Obviously, it will be a digital document easy to access and disseminate.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
Basically, we are in conversations with Fundación Redes, who will support us to start this project, as they have already worked with video and mobile telephone platforms.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
The idea is to work with existent young people networks from those areas, and we anticipate around 150 participants. We hope to keep their participation as we expect they commit to participate and bring forth this process.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We have contacts supporting us in handling, creating and designing blogs as a way to interrelate with social networks. They also help us sharing their previous experiences.
