Our goal is to make micro videos visible on mobile phones and pad devices to train Czech community members how to use of citizen media tools for whistle blowing cases of suspected corruption and fraud in the Czech Republic. The European Anti-Corruption Centre ( EurACC.EU ), being built will have a special whistleblowing tool and the purpose of our microgrant applicaiton is to support making the training videos in Czech, English & Russian.

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
Citizen reporters and would be whistle blowers in the Czech Rebublic. There is a huge problem with pervasive corruption and fraud in the Czech Republic, and much of the media are controlled by foreign owners (largely German) – which are reluctant to open their media to outside opinions
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Whistle blowing on fraud and corruption. Microbloging will predominate
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
We have small initial support from private supporters and anti-corruption people in the Prague business community.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
serveral thousand in the first 6 months of use. We will alo host open house sessions in the community to show people how to use it
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We have other grant applications in preparation for later deadlines. Also we have in kind contributions and some other support from people in the community
