The project seeks to use the internet (Facebook, twitter, blogging, and periodic newspaper) for local research and knowledge sharing so that they conserve their natural resource bases around the undulating terrains they settled on. It is intended to help young people in and around Ensaro-Wayu acquire and develop them in the area of skills acquisition in Information technology as a solution for adapting unpredicted weather and crop failure.

There are few successful youngsters ready to share their knowledge natural resource conservation and adaptation to climate changes so that they could grow balanced diet food locally and market them to generate income for supporting their schooling and further studies. Yet, they don’t have IT and other skills to share knowledge to community youth groups. This project aims to supply online platform for the youth and knowledge sharing among them.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
By creating digital contents for individual youth and household use. To achieve that, the project will make that knowledge and best agro-conservation practice easily accessible by all youth either online via the Internet or offline through a Learning Centers in Ensaro-Wayou ( Deneba rural town).The project will also build youth capacity using various online platforms via internet or offline using posters, pamphlets, resource use maps, and videos.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

There is a partnership with Lochristi Communie (A Flemish or Belgian local community group) that will provide youth groups with backgrounds in participatory agri-conservation schemes, IT, entrepreneurship, and climate adaptation to help develop the content for the training and setting up of the computer research center at Deneba (Ensaro-Wayu). There will be other partnership with NGOs and local administrative offices.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Beneficiaries will be 347. It will include self-supporting youngsters who lost their family heads with HIV/AIDs other natural disasters and carried the responsibility of household management in their young age. Furthermore, top scoring students in primary and secondary schools in Ensaro-Wayu districts. It will also include youngsters in and around Deneba who will be trained in IT and capacity building skills for problem-solving agri-conservation.
