Serbia: Creative Rural Women on the World WEB

With this project we intend to build virtual bridges between traditional and new technologies as well as elderly and young rural women, with the aim to enable them to promote their products by using ITC and partnerships. 24 women from 12 villages in province of Vojvodina will be trained to prepare virtual catalogs and how to spread them on the internet, which will create new opportunities for them to enter the inter/national market.

Ukraine: Visualization of Local Internet Media

The project’s aim is to increase the capacity of local communities from Chernihiv region in promoting of their informative products through their visualization. The project will be implemented in two stages. Educational: preparation and holding of the seminar “Infographics in the Internet” (3 days). Practical: promotion of informative products in Internet with a help of infographics, creating by the participants (3 months); summarize.

Albania: Using Learning 2.0 for Youth Active Engagement

This project aims at enabling 30 youths to use Learning 2.0 to aware their peers for the importance of youth political engagement in the frame of the 2013 National Elections. The participants that will successfully complete the training will create their own project by using their gained skills. The project should be an awareness message to enhance youth voting. A youtube channel will be created & the most voted project will win the first place.

Mission of Association for Promotion of Entrepreneurship “START” is to raise level of entrepreneurship spirit among young people. Having in mind number of users of internet, social networks, as well as number of blog readers, we are strongly committed to fully utilize these channels in a way that we will create blogging platform (blogs, video blogs) where successful entrepreneurs will share their stories in order to encourage young people.

Slovakia: The Kotwa-South Park Exchange

We will engage children and parents of the primarily Roma Kotva Housing project in Banska-Bystrica, Slovakia and the primarily African American South Park Housing project in Charleston, WV in an exchange of art, photos and reflection on their economically, geographically and politically marginalized communities. Content will grow from 6 week summer youth programs and parent support groups that will plan via skype and post on a common web page.

Albania: Promote Yourself – Use the Digital Media!

The project aims at sensitizing and training the NGOs in our region about the importance of sharing the information through the use of digital and social media. An official page on social media will be created with information about NGOs in the city and their activity, such as: training opportunities, vacancies, calls for collaboration between interested organizations. The sense of volunteerism among young people will be cultivated.

Bosnia Herzegovina: Make your Work Seen and Connected

The project refers to the middle-aged persons who are computer illiterate, and deal with some creative hobby who want to turn in a profit and presented it to the local community. During the project, they will learn how to promote themselves online, share pictures and work together. Course of the new technologies will be held in the Internet room of the public library. Project participants will have access to the Internet every day for the project

Hungary: Elimination of Stereotypes and Discrimination against Sex Workers

We wish to create an online platform and networking space for sex workers in order to communicate their every day experience for each other and the outside world. By providing insight into the sex worker realities, we wish to prevent that people feel that violence against sex workers, including rape, crime, bribe, blackmailing and exploitation is justifiable.

Hungary: Fairy Garden in Pereces

The project will accompany the starting Fairy Garden program (competence-improving workshops and camps for pupils, 3D-animation about the historic Pereces). We would like to extend this program (with participation of insiders and outsiders) with creating, maintaning and refreshing a new blog and the related social network (Twitter). We provide digital competence-imporving trainings to reach this goal.

Albania: Waste in my City

The project is an emergent and prevention response to survival conditions of 92% of the Roma community working and living with waste in Albania. It will encourage participation models and listening to Roma’s voice, through use of social networks like development mechanisms. Informing on social media, building the denouncing directory at Riciklimi.al; the competition with photos and blogs from Roma and for the Roma will accompany this initiative.
