To provide Information and communications technologies (ICTs), training on environment protection, watershed management, empower the voice and freedom of expression of farmers of poor people, to empower rural poor adult learners to read and write English so that their capacity would be built to use digital devices to share information in local language with their cluster community in the district of Bankura, West Bengal.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
By ICT training, develop a local website, train the local people on how to use and publish digital audio-visual on website, write articles, E-Newsletters/ Magazines, broadcasting local voice and information on internet radio and blogs by using tablets/mobile phone. Involve rural youth as amateur citizen journalists, using simple tools to deliver untold stories, innovative ideas and collecting information in context of rural perspective.

We are Regional Resources Agency(RRA),Ministry of Environment and Forest, GOI, having more than 100 NGO’s are in our network which will provide support on community capacity building and implementation of the project
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
The project intends to train 30 trainers of trainees(TOT) which helps to train local literates and semi- literates local youth both women and men of the district in the first phase.
