Community village women have capability to being part of change especially after conflict and related electoral situation in Aceh today but they but less of knowledge about technology, sometimes some local media coverage often proclaim the unbalanced and disproportionate which discriminate women, so it requires a community of journalists who can use audio visual technology correctly, distribute news to wider society in order to tell the real news

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
News about security in the post-conflict of Aceh (terror, shooting and killing), the electoral process in Aceh, violence against women and people with disabilities as well as documentation of victim story using video, photography or share their cases in order to get support from publict. All of media output will be in the form of digital video, digital photography and social networking (facebook, twiter,)
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

Our organization has had its own website, but in the future we have a desire for village women's community has its own social network technology and digital video, photography that will linked in our organization website. And their is possibility or chance their digital video can be be covered at local or national TV because now at Metro TV there is a program show “citizen journalists” where every citizen can enter their video with various issues
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Total participant are 20 people (there are 4 community women group in 2 sub-district of Aceh Besar and Ingin Jaya, where each group consist of 5 people as representative person). The process of selection itself that can joint this training is conducted inside their own community with specific criteria and terms of condition. We will use check list ,video and photo training activity as Performance measurement of program
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Rising Voice may support in the distribution or dissemination of digital video, pictures and other community which resulted by this community within international networks Raising Voice if possible can provide recommendations of success story to others donor, and if this is a chance invited this community on international training or workshop, which held directly by voice Rising as a process of lesson learn with other communities around the globe
