We are planning to develop a video documentary to share learning experiences about “how can get victory from disaster”. After the devastation of TSUNAMI, We observed that the displaced people were really helpless they need to be taken care of some one till they fully recovered. In order to restore and re start their businesses. We could help them through funding & make a habit to saving 50% from every funding for them.
What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?
Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
The project will focus on community who have affected by tsunami and having less access to resources, information, education, government services etc. Due to that reason they are having very less knowledge on present their progress. Since this project will specially focus on rural women’s to share the success experiences, effective management of micro grants.This will be a better model to build the community who were affected for the disaster.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
There are 25 villages under the community co-operative society with 1000 memberships and they are implementing micro projects and having small micro banking system. Since through the community financing system they will be able to share the stories and videos related to the implementation progress, share the experiences and take collective actions for their problems. Soft ware will be developing in local language having easy access to rural.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

Our organization have a set up of communities in the each villages and they are to be trained how to deliver this model after completing the video documentary. Community are trained enough to organize the people and they will be co ordinate on preparing video and to provide necessary details and finally to achieve the goal of sharing the good lessons to adapt for the disaster.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
We expect to train 25 women leaders & 1000 social group networks. We will work with the different youth groups and through their networks we will be seeking participants from the communities. We will also be using traditional media like word of mouth, real experiences of Tsunami victims.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Besides the Micro Grant some of the resources that rising voices could provide include the training support including the tablet pc or laptop computers to fast the work & share with others. We are requesting information links to develop social network in well.
