Bolivia: Telling the History in Our Own Words

In Bolivia, there are five largest organizations representing indigenous. Despite the rich history of these organizations in their struggle for inclusion in the public life, there are few documents that tell their story, neither is the voice of the people themselves and most have only parts and not the whole story. Therefore, we propose a workshop on free software to create documents and workshops using digital media for publication.

Multimedia material of Bolivia within Wikimedia Commons are few. There are no images, audios or videos of historical places or towns and cities. In Bolivia, there are several groups of people interested in multimedia who share their work through social media, but these photos are not shared under a free license. The most frequent reason is that they do not know how to use these type of licenses. We will show them how to do this.

Peru: Water in Lachaqui, Poking his Past

It will value the activities performed Lachaqui farming community in the past to ensure water for irrigation. Inquire into elders, organization, rites, customs and celebrations that lavished the water and community documents. Be compiled into a booklet and a video that will be presented and distributed in the community, migrants in Lima and the world, national and international organizations, and airs on radio and TV Canta, Lima and abroad.
