This project is intended to create a unified voice for persons with disabilities, women, Orphans and other marginalized community members in Ttula community. So through training of a community media, we hope to have a unified voice where these groups can sit and deliberate on the challenges they face and then draw out lasting solution for them. This trained media will act as an advocate for the target members in the targeted community.

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
The specific population include persons with disabilities, Orphans, women and other marginalized community member in Ttula community.
They are marginalized thus left out in many important programs such as in the social, economic and other areas and so, we want to train them in how to advocate for their rights and demand for it in a better and simple manner for a better and positive impact to the community in the area of our services stated.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Cases where their human rights are being abused, stories that are educative showing the community or world the need to include disabled persons in their various programs.
Songs and plays of talented members will be presented to the world and we hope these will teach society that disability is not inability all. Neglected disabled cases will be reported and how help was given through the Marginalized Citizen Media Project.

Public Awareness system will be bought and used in the implementation of the project for efficiency.
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
We work with the ministry of health -disability department, with Brethren Care and Community Foundation, Nabweru sub-County especially the Community Development Office, Wakiso District Community Development Officer, Community and Microfinance-Nansana, Mulago Disabled Women Group, The Local leaders in our community and Kawempe SDA Church also play a big role in the provision of this service to the community members in Ttula area.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
500 Participants will be trained if resources are availed during the project implementation.
Resources will be solicited from various well wishers including from external corners.
There will be mobilization of these members to be trained and funds will have to be used as a motivation in order to get them attend as expected in the stated number and transparency will play a big role in the project's implementation in the community stated.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We really need a Van since our project comprises of many members with physical disability whose mobility is difficult.
We also request rising voices to send us a representative to come and help us in the implementation of this project in the stated community.
Support us with our fundraising for the purchase of a land for setting up a permanent centre for our various programs in Our Organization- Attitude Change for Development Uganda (ACD)
