it is really needed for the children of Northern Uganda
Great Job,for the inventing such a remarkable project in Northern Uganda(i might say this was a big waiting dream for every Northerners),this Amazing project will now turn down the bad and worse historical moment of more than 2 decades of tortured for innocent people,e.g children and women.
surely,Rising the voice…i consider it as a defender and protector of the Human rights, this including Luo communities.Rising the voice will defiantly be ”voice rising”to the peak and even over the boundary possibly, in order to highlight the major problems affecting the general community, mainly women and child sexual abused…I urge with confidence for both, inventors and coordinators of this project to advocating without fear or favour.
thank u all for your continuous support and acknowledgement. If we do get through we will keep you updated in every step of the way, and also seek your advice or participation in the project.
Great pursuit!
What is the desired tangible outcome for the target communities?
How will knowing their rights solve the practical problems they have e.g. will it be an effort to champion their need for education, electricity, water and seek funding for follow-on projects that will deliver these?
S.A.Y
Thank you all for all your wonderful remarks in regards to this project, to answer your question S.A.Y, about the tangible outcome for these communities, i would like to begin by saying that this training will mainly focus on helping them learn how to use IT/Media to reach out to the rest of the world to help them solve their problems, by enlightening them about their human rights and how to deal with different problematic situations when need arises for instance since we are tackling sexual exploitation they will be trained how to protect themselves through prevention based activities, that is seeking assistance before it happens or if it does happen how to seek for help to bring justice to the criminals and all this, through the use of IT/Media.
Thank you.
Dear Jasper
