In this way we reduce the technological breach that is commonly associated to elderly people. Also we seek to promote the memory exercise trough interactive games and tablets, emotional and therapeutic work and the physical developing with an adapting change, focus in promote a life wellbeing.
What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?
Describe the specific population with whom you will be working.
The population that we are working with is elderly people who is 65 years old or more. The elderly will be the main actors of the project, they will create their own storytelling and also learn the edition and promote in the social network their own creations. The Bolivian elderly community dont count with an online representation because it exist a technologically breach associated to the use of computers or any technological devices and also to handle the communicational programs or social networking in elderly people. In the present Bolivia doesn’t have any virtual spaces that aloud elderly people reflect, share and exchange coyuntural experiences of their community.
“EAS Center” work with these population because we want to promote the exchange of ideas between generations.

Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established or plan to establish that will contribute to the success of the project.
At this moment we don´t have strategic alliance with any institutions.
How many participants do you think will be trained in your project?
We will be counting with the presence of 80 elder participants and we´ll sustain their participations trough the technique of “Objective Achievement” giving them the posibilitie to narraite their life stories, opinion and perspectives trough a digital media, developing habilities in the management of communicational informatics tools getting at the end a digital production that will be shared in social networks as a final product.
Describe which technologies, tools, and media you will focus on when training participants.
The technology that we will be using is the creation of multimedia videos using tablets. This technology is the most apropiated fot the community because since the tablet is touch is easy to use it and the learning process is more dynamic and less complicated to achive because the interaction with the applications is more direct. The level of expertise that the facilitators have is advanced since they have experience teaching elder people on: Computer Use, Internet Management and Literature Narrations Creations. In this sense trough these technology we make more accessible the inclusion of the elder population to the technological worldwide community.
Describe the facilities where you will hold the workshops.
The spaces that we are going to use to do the workshops are the offices of “EAS Center” we count with a capacitation room wich is adapted to the elderly needs, we have a capacity for 16 people per turn, with tables for 4 people each. The materials that we need are 16 tablets of last generation and also internet WIFI conexion for the distribution of the products to the social networks.
What is your current relationship with the community with whom you plan to work? What makes you the most appropriate individual or organization to implement this project?
We are the best candidates to work with elderly people because we have the vocation of share, listen and learn of their life experiences and use this analysis to bring them tools that improve their life cuality and improve their social and familiar areas, in this sense we have been working with elderly community since 6 years ago. In the present we provide them of an “Elderly Integral Formation Program” in order to promote a health biopsicosocial development trough the profetional workshops we mentioned earlier.
What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
The possible obstacle we think we coud find is the fear and frustration of elderly people to the access of new technologies and perhaps this could cause the desertion of the participants. We consider that the key to pass this is to provide dynamic and horizontal clases that keeps the attention focus up, where the participants are the constructors of the learning process. Also it’s important to mention that the learning process is personalized because each turn has a specific number of participants (16 per turn).
How will you measure and evaluate the project’s impact, specifically: your primary participants, the wider regional community, or the global digital community?
We will have three evaluation steps: Primary, secondary and thirdary. In the Primary stage will have a continuous evaluation per learning steps as well as the final product such as de video, mini documental and the develop of it. In the second stage the parameters of impact measurement it will be based on the number of viewers, shares and comments of the people who visit the online publications. Finally the third stage will measure the diffusion and impact of the final products in the massive media communications such as write press and television.
