Kampung Jagad (Global Village) blog is citizen journalism media. There are more than 30 village blogs under (subdomain) of kampungjagad.org, and more than 100 registered user/accounts. Villagers used it to sound of their voices and interests. They also use it as an alternatif media to support sustainable development. This project is designed to train village people in managing blog and how to make its contents -news, images and videos.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
This project will generate news about the village, the potential of the village, the village traditions, as well as the thoughts of citizens. Perspectives behind the news is of its own citizens. Residents will also made the news as a matter of participation in rural development. News will be made in the form of text, images and video that will be published in the blog kampungjagad.org.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

Since the beginning Kampung Jagad have done the training to manage blogs and journalism to some villagers. Some people also have a blog post on their each village blogs, although it is still very simple. This project is to add training for more people so that they can create better content.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Approximately 150 people, consisting of men and women, will be trained in this project. They will be given technical training on the management of the blog, as well as create content in the form of text, images and video to be uploaded on the blog kampung jagad.
Kampung Jagad have offline meetings. Through the forum, we can assist them to continue to engage in the online media Kampung Jagad.
