The aim of the project proposal is to promote the participation of young people and students in raising citizens’ awareness of the decisions made, as well as in the collection, processing and transfer of information and to ensure the active life of their community. 2 equipped media centers in two Schools in different communities. One community is consisted on Uzbek nationality residents, another is mixed of Kyrgyz and Uzbek nationalities.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Students will engage in the creation of videopodscats and audio interviews from their peers and from residents of their community about socio-economic issues of their community. Also they will take interview from people in coomunity who has contributed in its development or improving the well-being of families. Also they will make reels on school contests, problems of schools in order to raise awarness of school administration and municipality.

Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
It has been agreed with two schools about participation in this project. Schools named after Moombekova and Altybayeva. The schools provide a room for Media centre, and will cooperate in involving school pupils into the project. Also it has been agreed with municipality Shark of Osh province Kyrgyzstan where the schools are located to support the project in the dissemination of information to the public and young people involved in the poject.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Firstly, 50 volunteers from 2 communities (by25 from each) will be selected among school students and youth of community and they will be trained in TOT training on tolerance, types of mass media and creating media products. After finishing training 50 volunteers will traing their peers and other young people from community 200 per month in each Centre. So in 3 months duration of the project total around 700 students and youth will be trained.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Rising Voices could provide the Media centres with magazines, books, brocures on how to create Media products, books to widen the outlook of rural youth. Also it could send am experienced volunteer to train the students how to create media products describing issues of their coomunity.
