The idea of the project is to work with youth indigenous people for recovery the millenarian history of our past, creating comics for an interactive interface developed for android smart phones. We want to make a place were youth people can transform legends, told by the ancient from the community's, to histories and comics in the way to contribute with creating content for tell our history.
What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?
Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
We will work with youth people in La Paz, that are migrants from rural areas in second, an third generation, they are students that are interested in drawing, and writing histories. The project will give them the abilities to adapt histories for smart phone's applications that we alraedy made. Those people are losing his millenarian past in the city, so the project will help them to recovery.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
We are going to re-create our legends in new histories that can be told using smart phones, re-inventing the comic by adding audio, smart content, and educative functions. So we want to recovery our legends to make histories from it, the content will have the goal to put our millenarian legends into a new way to tell it.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

We are working with KetanoLab in an android club teaching programming, and developing several applications for solve problems of the community using smart phone's. We have also connections with youth's comic's organizations, the university students organization's, and indigenous leader's. We has already a place were people can develop their owns ideas to create content that can be useful for our community.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
We are thinking in work with 20 or 30 youth people, in put their own comics on the applications that we are creating. We will work with comics, students and indigenous, organization, that they have already manifest the interest in be part of the project, and want to find, in the new technology, ways to tell their history. We will bring to then an crative place where they can feel free for tell their historys.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We want of the microgrant funding if they can pay the cost to improve the software (we need a full time developer for 4 mounts dedicated to improve and fix the bug's of the software that we have already made with KetanoLab), two professional cameras, one computer for graphics design, and a nominal salary for one people that will be in charge of the project.
