The project proposes training of a rural community of Malinyi in Tanzania how to use internet for communication. The area has possibility of accessing internet through mobile network, but the population lacks knowledge. The idea will be realised through trainings. The target groups will secondary school students and employees. The project aims at making population of Malinyi access the on-line forums for presenting their views on various issues.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The news and stories that will be created by the participants will be on the agricultural and energy areas. The population will join the existing the ready available national and international platforms like twitter, face book and foundation mailing list.

My organization has already established relationship with the target group. My organization has already worked with population in providing solar light at the village bus stand where people spend overnight before travelling early in the morning.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
It is estimated that 100 participants will be trained. The strategy will be training employees and students that need the access to the internet for various reasons like reading and information seaching.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Other resources and support that can be provided are training computers with solar power and capacity.
