Jaqi Aru is a group of young Aymara internet users, impacted by Global Voices since 2009. We have been experiencing challenging activities regarding the use of our language and citizen media. Following up on this mission, we want to share our experiences on the web with our brothers and sisters, young people and teachers in three rural Aymara communities (Achacachi, Batallas, Pucarani) in order to prepare for the arrival of the Tupac Katari satel

Young high school students, and university professors from the three Aymara populations (Achacachi, Batallas, Pucarani) have only been using the Internet to find information (consumers) and do not contribute to the web. They are Aymara, and we want to strengthen and empower them in hthe use of the web and its language (protagonists), thus mitigating the missing content. If you could garner more support from other sources, I think you will have greater opportunity to widen your impacts. Keep up the good work!
Dear Joseph Joute,
Thanks so much for your comment. We are a young Aymara virtual group, we have been encouraging young people about the huge possibility of the use of internet and our native language Aymara. Thanks for the suggestion to garner more support from other sources like ministry of Education, or other NGOs, we will look for it.
Thanks for encouraging us.
Ruben
Nice concept
Keep it up
Thanks Felix,
Yes we also think that is really interesting project. we are amateurs of the techonology and we love using our native Aymara language behind the technology.
Thanks for your comments.

Your idea will allow you to help keep your local language. The local language is arguably the most important factor in the learning process for the transfer of knowledge or skills … through speech or writing. good luck
Dear Mwinja Chirigaga Lysa,
Thanks for your support!! We are convinced as Aymara young people that our native language Aymara will survive if we use it. And we are convinced that young people like technology and as part of our mission is to bring the language and culture on the technology.
Thanks again for the good luck.

Hello MArtha, thanks for your support. Many Aymara young people are really pleased for seeing their language of grandparents on the ciberspace.

Hello Edwin, it is really good your point of view, the contents on the internet will end in educational materials which is priority for instance.
