Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
Since 2010, women journalists are fighting to defend their rights and to create awareness about abuses, but they remain almost completely inaudible on the internet. Ability to use citizen media tools will strengthen their struggle and make them audible to a larger audience.
Activities will be in the capital city, Conakry as well as in other cities.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Text, audio, video, pictures or drawings to document violation and abuses of women's rights in daily life but also during political unrests, as they the prime targets. The planned elections later this year and ethnical tensions within the society may lead to violence and abuses against women, as in the past.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
