My project seeks to say the history of indigenous people, their role in economically,culture and traditional language and how they were discriminated during pre-colonial period even now. I will accomplish this using media and historical proverbs relating to Rwandan cultural.

Ghana: ‘Ankonsia’ Mobile Phone Online Project

The “Ankonsia on – line using mobile phones” project is being focused on the Ankonsia community and is aimed at empowering the active users of mobile phones to be able to surf the internet for information such as News, Academic researches, social networking and also send vital information with their phones. The proposed project intends to make mobile phone technology more useful for accessing the internet by the people of Ankonsia.

In rural areas in the mountains where the rivers begin, there is a danger that they will disappear due to the lack of communication. The Foundation is dedicated to work with climate change, but nothing can be done without communication. We are proposing a project with strategic sites with mobile internet so that the peasant can receive information on how we should protect the environment. We will train them so that we can say how it benefits us.

Pakistan: Digital Green-up

A nature club will be formed in 5 schools. They will be trained for green photography and using computers in “SDO Resource Centre” for copying, sharing, printing photos. They will make plantation of 1000 plants in SWAT area (taking support from the forest department) and all this interesting activity will be digitally captured using mobile phone and digital cameras. Competion winner will have some reward in cash/trophy etc.

Lesotho: The Children's Voice Newspaper

The Children's Voice newspaper will work as a platform where children from different categories will come up and express their opinion, thoughts and express their views, share information and get informed in a constructive and developing way. The newspaper will be stories of children as well as sharing their interests with other children. We are aiming at conscentizing the Law and policy-makers, to understand the views of the children.

Peoplewitness is a network of livestreamers born in November 2011. We help spread the voice of communities strongly hit by austerity measures, while traditional media only offers an official version of the crisis. Peoplewitness helps cover the citizens’ need to report their reality. We do a series of workshops to provide the knowledge, technology, motivation, support and selfconfidence people need to report their own reality through streaming.
