The Project light, camera, citizen, aims to promote democratization of access to audiovisual knowledge, promote protagonists actions. Through free workshops, adolescents in fulfillment of socio- educational measures in freedom in the city of Teixeira de Freitas – BA, teenagers sheltered home in Casa Sagrada Familia, Eradication of Child Labour, NGO ASSELIAS, Projovem teenager. During the project young people learn to use the film as a portrayal of reality . In workshops adolescents, besides the theoretical part, has contact with software for video editing.

teenagers, including those who are in compliance with educational partner Provision of Community Service and Probation measures, accompanied by the Reference Center specializing in Social Work in the city of Teixeira de Freitas, Bahia and participants of the Program for the Eradication of Child Labor – PETI National Youth Inclusion Programme – Projovem Teenager, welcome Program for children and adolescents in the modality Home Home and referral network of local public education.

a partnership was established with the Municipality of Teixeira de Freitas through the Municipal Social Welfare, Municipal Education Department, Municipal Sports Bureau, Ministry of Labour and Trade Union of Employers of the Municipality.

Place the art of cinema in the teaching-learning process through a multidisciplinary approach as a means of approaching the teenage audience of audiovisual narrative.

the project encourages the mobilization of teenagers and education professionals to youth issues, emphasizing the themes: citizenship, ethnicity, sexuality and education through civic action and through actions of the young protagonists in the Alumni Student, Residents Associations, Churches , Candomblé, Spiritualist Centers, Cultural Associations, Political Parties, etc..
Educating for participation is to create spaces, so that the young person can undertake itself the construction of your being. Here, again, the practices and experiences are the best way, since teaching will hardly account the multiple dimensions involved in the act of participating.

Describe which technologies, tools, and media you will focus on when training participants.
The proposed Project Light , camera, Citizen was gestated to be a place where children and teenagers to become protagonists in the construction of their identity and their cultural development through knowledge and ownership , not only of audiovisual language , but also the new information and communication technologies .
The project was designed to be developed in ” nests ” – gifted physical spaces of equipment such as digital video camera with accessories, computer with software editing, compositing and image processing , light kits with tripods , lights and cases ; directional microphones and lapel , printer and scanner .

The PASPAS-Area Professionals NGO promoting health, well located in the neighborhood, social shares an extensive area, plus:
2 rooms in operation during the morning and afternoon shifts with support for 25 children each, totaling 100 children in two shifts.
1 room that works with the Young Apprentice program “I'm a professional.” With support for 25 apprentices.
1 Laboratory equipped with 25 computers computing.
1 Room cafeteria, where it happens once a week at the Cinema Neighborhood.
1 Administrative Office.
1 Room Pedagogical coordination.
1 Mini Library – in flux with a small collection of books.
1 Cantina – fully tiled and well sanitized.
1 Waiver – A place designed to store food, etc..
3 Bathrooms – 1 male, 1 female for use by students and 1adaptado for employees

Thus , the actions proposed in the Project have continuity from the actions that young people develop in their communities , and especially in the schools of the region . Therefore, we point out some aspects that indicate the continuity of the actions of the Project :

What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
• Ensure their stay , return or school access and attendance to vocational training and preparation for work ;
• Engage family and community in the educational process of the adolescent ;
• Assist the adolescent in search of essentials to the full exercise of citizenship instruments ;
• Wake the need for respect to the social norms ;
• Encourage the adolescent participation and reflection on relevant aspects of the period of adolescence as: identity , integration , sexuality , citizenship , life project , among other topics ;
• Help your teen to be recognized as agents of their own history , the subject of rights and duties ;
• To create opportunities for adolescents to include workshops in audiovisual and information technology ;
• To contribute to the democratization of access
How will you measure and evaluate the project’s impact, specifically: your primary participants, the wider regional community, or the global digital community?
The evaluation of the project occurred in all stages, from its inception with the contacts and awareness of partners , through the selection of job applicants , to run properly , and as expected came to other segments of our community.
Teenagers are addressed during project activities through observation of interest, participation , completion of work , oral , written and practical .
Coordination Project is in constant harmony with the Municipal Education Department and the Municipal Schools respective of each teen to follow its evolution in frequency and in their educational learning .
Moreover, this having a steady job to support families , to be held in collaboration with the Guardian Council and the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents ( CMDCA )
