Roma have a very unenviable social and economic position in post-war BiH. In our municipality – Kakanj- the estimated number of Roma comunity is 1000. They are ussually uneducated, with no jobs, and 70 per cent of Romani cannot provide for their basic physical existence. Trought this project we want to put media pressure on local goverment to provide them better living. Only 5 per cent Roma housholds have computer and internet.

What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
We could expect a little lack of Roma interest for participation – they are not familiar with new technologies, but we will overcome that by explaining the purpose of the project. No security concernes are made.
How will you measure and evaluate the project’s impact, specifically: your primary participants, the wider regional community, or the global digital community?
Succes will be introducing comunity with Roma population, it can be measured in numbers (how muceach article has bean read or video has been wached) (Google analytics, youtube analytics, facebook analytics) but also it can be measured by obtaining Municipaliti inclusion in solving Roma problems. (Education, infrasctructure, economic situation…)
