Philippines: Ambassadors of Change

The Ambassadors of Change is mobilizing young people to raise awareness on people with disabilities towards a community that cares for all. The school will use as a strategic venue to start the all out campaign on removing all forms of barriers facing people with disabilities. Outcome of the activities will put in blog, disseminate in emails and social media for wider audiences.

Kenya: Empowering Alternative Voices for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)

This project will seek to amplify the voices of the marginalized PWDs in Mombasa, Kenya. The project hopes to train and mobilize PWDs as champions and advocates of their rights through citizen’s media. The project will identify potential PWDs and train them on their specific rights and advocacy skills to enable them engage on national matters as well as fight for their rights. The project hopes to expose and address PWDs rights violations.

Uganda: Marginalized Citizen's Media Project (MCM-P)

This project is intended to create a unified voice for persons with disabilities, women, Orphans and other marginalized community members in Ttula community. So through training of a community media, we hope to have a unified voice where these groups can sit and deliberate on the challenges they face and then draw out lasting solution for them. This trained media will act as an advocate for the target members in the targeted community.

Zambia: Lekeni Nsose (Let Me Speak Out)

Services such as health and education are not adequately provided with the aspect to cater for people with disabilities, considering their physical and or mental state.They are underrepresented and left on the fringes of the society.Lekeni Nsose(Let me speak out), will train the disabled and those serving them in citizen journalism and give them a platform to speak out to the wider community and create an impact on issues that affect them

Uganda: Disabled Voice Project

As a result of insurgency in Northern Uganda lead by LRA Joseph KONY thousand of women and men were killed,torture, and left without one to take care of them,with no support to disabled education and yet they are also like any other human being so this project would wont to know their problem and see how to help them.we hope to get them in to board so that helping them become easy

India: To Furnish the Computer Lab for the Education

We are happy to share that, at present we have a project of setting job for our students and on the 22nd of March 2010, 60 youngsters have been selected to do back office work for Dinshaw’s Dairy Foods Ltd. At present 60 students are working and 40 more students will be given training for the next group. Our target group in give training are 100 students and make them self sufficient.

Indonesia: Strengthening disabled young people in media techniques

This project is designed to strengthen disabled young people in media technique by giving them training about the use and access of online media. The majority of disabled persons is often discriminated in the whole aspect in social life beside in getting education and training, so they don’t get access of information and ability to support their living. This training will be able to express about their life and their rights in social life.
