Rwanda: Rise Change Project

The project is concerning the awareness and importance of social network in rural area, where community are facing the problem of accessing information related to human need. It is all about the role and how to use the social media in terms of creating friendship, exploring opportunities like scholarship, green card ,marketing, communication, researching and informing content strategy through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and all valid platforms that i will use as part of my content strategy and through complain, workshop and seminers.

Pakistan: Go Big!

#GoBig will be a social media activity where people will be using different social mediums, slogans and pictures to highlight the injustice and corruption we are facing in Pakistan. Its like giving voice to people, their feelings, what they think is happening. It will not focus on ethnicity, racial or sectarian discrimination. It will be more like what happening around them in their close vicinity, surrounding, comments on the kind of education they are getting is good or not.

Lebanon: Realising the Potential of Open Data for Civic Commons in Local Communities

A lot is written about open data how it can help us solve day to day problems in our communities, coordinate better and its potential to create smarter, more informed citizen/factivists, improve journalism and transparency and help create a more accountable government. But working with data in terms of reading, analysing, curating, producing, publishing and communicating it is not an easy process.We aim to create the tech infrastructure,curate a set of civic datasets in Lebanon, deliver world class training for students, bloggers, NGOs and journalists and share hard learned lessons

Kenya: Tana River Civic Education Network

This is a project of Kenya Sustainable Health Aid (KESHA) working in Tana County in Kenya. The project will create a group page in the facebook social media i.e TANA RIVER CIVIC EDUCATION NETWORK. The project will training the youth on how to use internet mobile phones to the use the web page and invite many youth to the page. The page will be updating the members with information about governance and democracy issues affecting Tana County. Majority of them owns phones hence this project will improve their participation in governance and democracy, and hold their leaders accountable.

Indonesia: “Our Day Our Lives” Documentary Film of Balinese Young People

This is a filmmaking project to capture Balinese young people (high school students) daily lives – how they use their time, what they like doing, where they hang out, and their interconnection with communities. The documentary film is to reflect on the future of Bali young generation. Parents, teachers, policy makers and Bali indigenous community group can learn from the movie to better facilitate ideas, creativity and freedom of expression of young people. These students will be the main actors, movie makers, and also directors of this collective-made documentary film.
