Hungary: Fairy Garden in Pereces

The project will accompany the starting Fairy Garden program (competence-improving workshops and camps for pupils, 3D-animation about the historic Pereces). We would like to extend this program (with participation of insiders and outsiders) with creating, maintaning and refreshing a new blog and the related social network (Twitter). We provide digital competence-imporving trainings to reach this goal.

Egypt: Arab Foundation for New Media

The initiative aims to support and consolidate the new media in the Arab world through the Arab youth training on how to best use social media to support various issues. The initiative also seeks through its social platform website that allows them to post news, reports, and multi-media. The initiative also aims to build a large network of new media covering all over the Arab world for the exchange of experiences and benefits .

Colombia: Systems Lab for Indigenous Resguardo

To acquire equipment for the systems lab for practice and the use of ICT technology working with children and teenagers of the Indigenous Resguardo of Rionegro in the Iquira Municipality, Huila Department, Colombia with the goal of the search and development of their potential in the use and control in the use of ICTs that allow to be at the same level with the rest of the world and the use of free time.

Lebanon: Zeina Spoke

The project will bring a trainer to lead workshops on the topic of child sexual abuse to encourage survivors to break the silence by posting stories of other survivors. The participants will post the interviews on the Zeina Spoke blog, and if the people they interview show interest, we will offer a workshop for them to post as well. We hope that eventually we can prevent abuse from happening, but we are starting by breaking its taboo.

Brazil: Building the Oral History of Brasilândia

Brasilândia, a slum in São Paulo, is known for it's extreme poverty and scarcity of resources. We want to develop an oral history and affective map of the neighborhood. A youth group will use the community's radio station and invite residents to talk about their lives. This will all be recorded on a blog and podcast and compiled into a digital book and shared with the community.

Australia: Circles and Squares

Project will reach out to a refugee community in Australia, teach skills in online blogging by using video and audio recording to share knowledge of history, experience and community. This knowledge will become a digital archive where stories are told through various media e.g. dance, music, sound, art or text. Stories can be uploaded on a continual basis.

Moldova: You are Not Alone – Reflection, Dialog and Voice

This project will unite youth across diverse cultures to tell their stories & stories of their communities. Students will be exposed to the range of applications which make cross-cultural exchange possible, such as google+, Twitter, YouTube, & Voxer. Students will be exposed to technologies that will enable them to document their experiences, i.e. Podcasts, Prezi, & PowerPoint. Youth will share their stories through new media.

Mexico: Everybody Knows our Lives and Projects

Train 10 people from different organizations and social initiatives in disseminating their daily lives related to their social activities through digital. Training will cover from the creative use of digital camera, a basic digital literacy workshop, Workshop brief editorial, documentary storytelling workshop video blog implementation. I hope to achieve that through ICT, people spread linking their daily lives with their activities.

Croatia: IT inclusion of elderly people

Project aims at digital and social inclusion of elderly people in Rijeka, otherwise considered passive members of society. Participants will be educated in digital photography, journalism, video production, Internet and social networks, and apply gained skills in writing on-line reports about the town’s sights, cultural and historical heritage. At the end of the project, a multilingual guide of Rijeka, seen through their eyes, will be created.
