Ukraine: Summer Film School

Purport of this project is to teach participants create qualitative and original video content (especially to create personal channels on videohostings ) . In this participants of the project will take all steps of creating videos (from creation ideas to filming and editing , also promoting their personal channel). Participants will be divided into groups. Each group will be run by a coach. Under their guidance on the spot will be created videos , short films or internet show . Our target is to teach Ukrainian youth to do qualitative and original video content .

Romania: Grassroots Storytelling

By the project Grassroots storytelling we aim at developing a better understanding of the main features of this community, both inside and outside it. By empowering the member with the online media tool, we can contribute to their visibility and other people awareness of this amazing mix of ethnies in harmony and peace. By trainings, Living Libraries with the old members of the community and social meeting of sharing knowledge on the history and traditions of the community, we can make the students of the local high-school have a real sense of belonging to something special as Macin.

Croatia: Roma Documentary Pho-To(day)

A documentary photography workshop intended for children and young teenagers in order to heighten their creative and technical skills by using computer software for editing, distibuting and publishing material online. The outcome material will be used to illustrate the community magazine called Romano Čaćipe (The Roma Truth) encouraging the younger generations to be included into the magazine.

Albania: Pa Fokus Magazine

Pa Fokus is an online magazine dedicated to you, bridging experiences from urban to rural context through promoting media tools such and story telling. Another project paralleled with Pa Fokus is “Fol Shpejt” which in a sort of way develops everything the magazine develops in an online form through a more physically and direct experience with others and socializing. These two projects help the community in Albania, to gather up and keep updated about several feeds and activities that each of the cities and rural places are up to, also helps to promote an active citizenship.

Serbia: Voice of Hungarian Mothers in Serbia

On Mothers Day, 4-th of May this year we start with a web site for hungarian minority families, parents, where they can find every information they need about parenting, pregnancy, our hospitals, their rights etc. We would like to get in contact with parents who live in villages – hungarian minority mostly live there, to help them giving the right information about subvention they are entitled.

Romania: Visualising Roma women’s voices in Romania

The purpose of this citizen media project is to make visible Roma women’s voices in the online environment through digital story telling. After being provided training on digital photography, Roma women from Tg Frumos will be given the tools and the support to self-document their lives behind the households’ fences. Together with young people, Roma women will be protagonists and narrators of the digital stories the project will generate and widely distribute. A blog reflecting the dynamics of the process of implementing it will be another media endeavor to widely spread Roma citizens’ voices.

Bosnia Herzegovina: Blogging for Young Unemployed

Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to research, has 50% unemployed. The most of them are youth people from 18 years to 30. I would like to train up to 30 youth unemployed. I would like to train them few important things: blogging, social media tools such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; how to utilize them in a way that is relevant to their lives and this country. This knowledge is usefull for labor market and for selfemploying. With this kind of knowledge and modern technical skills the young become more competitive on marketplace.

Ukraine: School Radio Space

School Radio Space is an educational project for students of school in province Ukrainian city Kremenchuk. Main aims of project are activation of local school youth communities, teaching youth of basic principles of citizen journalism, developing local Internet-radio Space. Objects of our project are: 1) to organize 13 training sessions for 120 activists among Kremenchuk school youth; 2) encourage youth to make topical audio-news about their school, local community, and city; 3) to publish and promote their podcasts on Internet radio platform Space – http://www.prostir.org.ua/

Macedonia: Visuallizing NGO’s Success Stories in Macedonia

The project proposal has the overall objective of raising the awareness and educating the NGO sector members in Macedonia for overcoming the major encountered obstacles during the start-up phase. The project consists of two main activities: producing a short documentary with success stories of NGO’s that have already successfully passed the start-up phase and organizing one 4-hour workshop on “Experiencing the Start-Up Phase and Digitalization for NGO’s” intended for members of newly established NGO’s in Macedonia. The project will last from 1 August – 31 December 2014.

Ukraine: You Have a Right to Know

This project proposal aims at facilitating access to the Internet vulnerable groups (people with disabilities and older people ). The project covers the development of the three important areas. First will be trained target group to be set up with people vulnerable, how to use Internet resources and social networks. Second is the work done with local Internet Media of Chernivtsi region, that they have created Accessibility online resources. Third conducting training for social services of Chernivtsi region as in touch with vulnerable groups through social networks.
